Dr. Ettinger graduated in April of 1989 from Southern California University of Health Sciences and holds both a doctorate degree in chiropractic and a Bachelors of Science degree in human biology. Since 1985 Marcus has been engaged in clinical R&D in the fields of alternative/holistic medicine, nutritional supplement formulation, public health, and the prevention and treatment of disease. Dr. Ettinger’s notoriety in the field of alternative/holistic medicine spread throughout the United States which helped him to build a large private practice; treating clients from around the world.
In 1994 Dr. Ettinger saw a small but important void in the area of herbal remedies and filled it by formulating and manufacturing his unique line of herbal tinctures. Life Extension Botanicals was born and would thrive for more than ten years until restrictions, put in place by the FDA to weaken and suppress the industry, made it no longer a viable business venture.
In over 21 years of helping people, Dr. Ettinger has personally witnessed many miracles; miracles unexplained by traditional medicine. Dr. Ettinger has seen cancer, HIV, gallstones, high cholesterol, diabetes, weight, ADD/ADHD, arthritis and autoimmune conditions vanish. At just 45 years of age Dr. Ettinger has accomplished much to help his fellow man and there is no sign of him slowing down.

This commitment resulted in the release of CAOH's TheraAloe (organic), Absolute Acai Powder (organic), Sea Buckthorn Oil (organic, whole berry) and Absolute Goji Powder.

Dr. Ettinger has over 21 years experience in the fields of medicine, health science, nutrition, and marketing, as well as experience being a consultant to physicians in many disciplines of medical practice. Dr. Ettinger has worked with some of Inc's. 500 up and coming businesses as well as major companies in the health services sector.
Dr. Ettinger has helped solo practitioners open-up their own practices, evaluated under-performing practices and coached them back to success, recruited executives, placed Ph.D.'s, M.P.H's, M.D.'s and R.N.'s into the health services sector (research institutes, universities and hospitals), personally planned and developed three successful business' in the health care field, one being bought by a Fortune 500 company, and lectured on health related topics throughout the country and abroad.

In May of 2004 Dr. Ettinger went off to peruse a passion and dream in the field of aesthetic and laser dermatology. Refinancing his house and selling his practice, Dr. Ettinger spent close to a half a million dollars and opened, in October 2004, the first stand-alone aesthetic laser clinic in Temecula, CA.
In order to achieve a high level of proficiency with aesthetic lasers and gain an in-depth knowledge of dermatology and aesthetic dermatology, that is required for this type of business; Dr. Ettinger went back to school. For a period of 6 months Dr. Ettinger received comprehensive training by two of the most respected dermatologists in the country, Mitchel Goldman MD (SpaMD - La Jolla) and Dore Gilbert MD (Newport Dermatology). Dr. Ettinger even attended advanced botox training at a private Allergan sponsored VIP course in Beverly Hills, and was also personally trained and mentored by the now West US Director for Lumenis Ltd. (the number one aesthetic laser manufacturer in the world).
Advanced Laser Clinics of Temecula grew from its first client to well over a thousand and was eventually bought, in late 2007, by the nations largest and most respected aesthetic corporation, American Laser Centers, Inc. With new knowledge gained, Dr. Ettinger adds another facet to his proficiencies as a doctor.
Hobbies: Dirt bike riding in the desert, riding big waves (when available), traveling, drinking good wine, eating good food, and most importantly, spending quality time with my family.
