Thank you Dr. Ettinger for the shake recipe! Which part of the recipe is libido enhancing? Any advice on darkening hair that has gone gray? I am also a DC interested in functional medicine.
Dr. Gilbert,
Research supports that zinc, copper and iron help with hair color. Shilajit powder has all three and is a very potent jing tonic. Mucuna Pruriens contains L-DOPA, also known as Levodopa. This is a dopamine precursor, which can support a healthy libido. This phenomenon works well with men but has a more noticeable effect on women.
I hope this helps,
Dr. E
